Care & Restore Home Care (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a mobile application and website designed to support homemaking and companion care services for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our app or services.

By downloading or using the Care & Restore app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Note: We do not collect sensitive personal information such as race, ethnicity, biometric data, or financial account numbers beyond payment processing.

Data Security

  • All data in transit is encrypted via TLS

  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text

Security Incident: In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within legally required timeframes.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active + 3 years after closure
  • Care records: 7 years as required by applicable regulations
  • Payment records: 7 years for tax and audit purposes
  • App usage logs: 2 years

After retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

Children’s Privacy

The Care & Restore app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Push Notifications & Location

The app may request permission to send push notifications (appointment reminders, care updates) and access your approximate location (for caregiver matching). You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking location access may limit certain features.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date and notify users via in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
